This is a decorated vaseline opalescent vase, made either Bohemia/Czechoslovakia, depending on the time period it was made. There is no pontil, which means that it was mold-blown, then finished off at the top. The top rim is ground, which is typical for a Bohemian piece (same part of the country, just depends on time period it was made as to what the country was called at that time).
It stands 8 5/8" tall. Depending on the background color (black or white), gives it a different view. Not only is there white and gold decoration, the two little flowers coming down off of the bottom of the gold ribbon have a touch of blue paint too!
