Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., DEW DROP Lamp Shade, No. 1706

Description	:	This is Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., DEW DROP lamp shade, No. 1706 (shape number), with 5" diameter fitter, in Rubina Verde Opalescent. This is a collage of 3 different photos to show different lighting effects. Left photo is under normal indoor room lighting. Center photo was taken when a morning sunlight beam hit the shade. Right photo has a pigtail UV fluorescent bulb in the lamp. The one I like the best is the sunbeam, as the UV from the sun highlighted it and showed the 'green' outer layer on the upper portion of the lamp (where the cranberry color normally dominates the visual effect). This is the top of the line, as it is not only Rubina Verde, but also opalescent highlights on the hobnails. The metal lamp is vintage to the piece, but was nicely electrified.
