Unknown covered candy with floral cutting. The finial is very distinctive and the cutting is both polished and cut to gray, with lots of detail. There is even polished cutting on the base. The base seems to be ground and polished. There are four felt pads had have been stuck to the bottom. There is no glow under black light and when tapped there is no crystal ring. It is about 7 inches tall, it is about 6 inches wide at the widest, the base is 3 inches across. The quality of the glass is very good with only a few bubbles visible in the finial. I can't tell if the finial was molded or cut but there are no mold lines and the edges are sharp and even but not to the point where they are knife edge sharp like some cut pieces. Jim W |
